I predict Brett Favre will win my lonely gay heart with his sweet, sweet hotness.

thank god you finally posted about the game - i had no where else to post the dream I had last night where the Hawks win, 36-34 or 34-32? It was in the 30s with 2 points between them. I don't know if that score is possible, as I know nothing about football. or the seahawks

Sick, totally sick. Poor Abused kids singing some political anthem. Those were Young Pioneer scouts from the Moscow region right?

Gotta go with Favre! Love that over the hill QB. And I, too, hope that the Jags will stomp that Brady Bastard into the turf. I fear, however, that the crushing of his skull is merely a dream :(

Go, Pack, Go!

Though I like the Squawks well enough, I was cheering for Washington last week because I didn't want the Packers to face the Walrus and Hasselbeck tomorrow. This should be a good game, but god, I hope the Pack sends the Walrus into his post-football life with a playoff loss!

Bellevue Ave is absolutely on point. It'll be a TD fest. I'm worried.

hey Jonah, watch your mouth. modern day footbal was developed in Canada.

"On November 23, 1876, representatives from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia met at the Massasoit House in Springfield, Massachusetts to standardize a new code of rules based on the rugby game first introduced to Harvard by McGill University in 1874."

Word.

My problem with football is that the athletes are not even remotely close to naked.

Could they make the uniforms transparent maybe? Please?

Great day of football Saturday.

Hawks / Pack is tough to call. Though I agree that it could go to lots of FG's. I ain't predicting shit. Should, could, ought to be a great game, it could go in any direction. I do hope that both teams have their quality game in 'em and that it isn't a blow out either way. It'd be sweet poetry to see another OT coin toss.

Pats / Jags - I think the game could play out similarly to the Chargers / Titans game of last weekend, where the teams were pretty even in the first half, then the Chargers out-paced the Titans, who slowly came apart in the second half.

I've liked the Jags all season - a similar, but way better version of the Ravens, who nearly took the Pats down. The Jags ' D has to keep the Pats from scoring big, and the Patriots D can't have a soft game. The Patriots, though, sorry to say, will cause many a bitter Slogger to raise their fist and shout "Curses!" at the end of the day.
