That was a good piece by Elliot. A satisfying read. makes me wanna go get his book about his girlfriend that beat him up.

really? i think it was the stupidest music article in the stranger since that stupid, stupid piece about how my morning jacket and band of horses sound vaguely similar.

That Britney article was really good. I like that it was about her whole career. This was the best line (he's talking about Baby One More Time vid): "Inhibited schoolgirls in starched button-ups look approvingly from behind open lockers, like they've been given permission to live, though in real life they're professional dancers, some with coke habits."

I agree with Bing on the Elliot piece. I thought it was blah.

I disagree with Bing on the My Morning Jacket - Band of Horses piece. That story made me laugh so hard. It was an interesting point of view on an interesting subject matter and it was well written. I loved it. Bing, honey, I think you missed the point.

I'm not too into My Morning Jacket or Band of Horses, but from what I've heard they do sound alike.
