Comment by Jubilation T. Cornball

@3 -- How, please, is Paul "ruining the legacy of the Beatles?

He's not touring the country with Yoko's second cousin and the nephew of the guy who used to live next door to Ringo's mom -- like the Beach Boys are doing today.

He's not licensing Beatles floor wax or hand cream.

He's not releasing five box sets of "greatest hits B-side outtakes."

When he sings the songs, as recently as last year, his voice remains beautiful and mellifluous.

You don't have to like Wings or his solo work, but then, he never said that anyone should see it as a continuation of The Beatles, did he?

So basically, you're talking out your left-handed b- ASS, aren't you?

@5 -

I am left-handed, thank you very much.

 Fuck McCartney. He's got the biggest ego in the history of rock. He's exploiting their music for personal financial gain (and, it would appear, to ensure that he is identified as "Mr. Beatle" cementing himself as the most remembered member of that band). Their music should be retired or at the very least only played with Ringo's involvement. Otherwise it's an obvious self-serving, self-promoting ploy and does indeed ruin the legacy of the Beatles. Definitely not as badly as The Beach Boys but still a severe blow.
