I will still use "pork chop". Forever. And ever.

One thing is for sure: Nigger is still a racial slur...

but Nigga is a term of endearment.

I blame the Shanty Irish for this.

The Seahawks have an offensive lineman known as Pork Chop--Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack. He's not an older Puerto Rican...although he blocks like one! (rim shot).

Those Iberians do eat a lot of pork.

Hmm. Wadya know? I've heard of "pork chop" used as a term of endearment. As in: "Oh, my dear little pork chop, how I want to ravish you". But then, that doesn't make any more sense than using it as a racial slur.

I was like 18 before I discovered that "white trash" is a racial slur. Growing up in the South, I just thought that's how you describe some people.

Plus it sounds beautiful in Spanish: Basura blanca.

Porkchop or porchop is used for (and by) Portuguese and known primarily in parts of the country with heavy concentrations of Portuguese (e.g., Rhode Island). I've never heard it associated with Latinos generally. I think people are looking hard to find offense.

Nice,

another excuse to use racial slurs and malign an entire ethnicity.

Way to go Stranger! Now it can be hip to be racist too!!!!

The list is interesting.

But,
--"amigo" isn't a slur, it's what most folks in Mexico say when addressing another person they don't know.

--"Moss eater" = PNW white trash.
Who knew?

It's full of good stuff:

Chromer: Australian Aboriginals
Majority of Aboriginals (Abos) sniff paint from a Coca-cola bottle commonly known as chroming
>Nice, use the explanation to make a racial slur!

Clover: Irish
Clovers are prevalent in Irish society.
>WTF?

Jig (2): Japanese
Japanese Nig(ger). Japanese people who act black.
>Yeah, that'll come in handy...

Make sure that your submission is of racial or ethnic nature (homosexual is not a race).
>Glad they cleared that up for me, I thought I was just barren...

"Jig" is already taken; short for "Jigaboo", offensive term for black person.

Bogtrotter, anyone? Jock, Taff, Mick? Wog? Bloody Pom? Septic (that one's me)? Wetback? Greaser? Spic? Kike? Wop? Bohunk? Frog? Cheesehead? Blockhead? Nappy-headed ho?

I'm fixing pork chops tonight, as a matter of fact.

First time I heard of porch-monkey was in Clerks 2, blew my mind that it was a slur, cause damn, there isn't anything funnier than monkeys, and monkeys swinging around a porch?, thats comedy gold dammit

@21: Beat me to it. There's a whole world of racial slurs out there that I never knew existed. Thanks for nothing, Mom and Dad!

My mind was blown when I was informed that the term "flip chart" was offensive to Filipinos. What is it now a "Big pad of paper on an easel?" I'm sure someone will work extra hard to find that offensive, too.

You insensitive motherfucking jerk, JD. I'll bet you wouldn't call me an "Easel" to my face, now, would you, tough guy? Just because I lean a little. Furrfu.

The next person who calls me "Tripod" (for obvious reasons) is gonna be sorry.

Okay... so, of the smattering of slurs aimed at Canadians, one (cheesehead) is used exclusively by the good people of Northern Washington! Oh yeah?

Screw you, moss eaters!

Not since "Taffy" has such a tasty and delicious racial slur been coined.
