It's all right. I have to fucking work, so I'll be distracted by that, then I'm going to head home, write some New Year's cards, and read more of Harry Potter to my fiancee. After that, bed time and dreams of hot threeways will keep me going.

According to at least this sunrise / sunset calculator, today is the shortest day, at 8h 25m 14s. Tomorrow will clock in one second longer.

Wake up and go to work - dark outside. Get off work and go home - dark outside. Soon it will be over, in the meantime I will be drinking heavily.

Tomorrow is ironically my favorite day of the year. Kid Icarus hit it on the head: after tomorrow, the days start getting longer.

In the meantime, I finally scored some seasonal affective disorder "medicine". Three times a day, doctor's orders!

Crap - that means I only get 1 1/2 hours of sunlight between when I wake up at 3pm and when I go back to bed :-/
