This is not a major figure in the church. The only reason she's in the news is because of her heroism. To then seek to find duplicity in her sexuality makes you a real bastard.

Christianity is a fundamentally amoral religion. The bible simply states that our behavior should be informed by our knowledge of God both through Christ and the Holy Spirit in us (e.g. 1 Thess 4:5). While doing something considered immoral (in an unrepetant or duplicitous fashion) by a leader could not be tolerated, it would not exclude someone from being a security guard or a member of a church. The truth is, whatever her identity or history, there is no evidence of hypocrisy.
