I hope and pray Huckabee is nominated; he's got no hope of election.

And this is why people shouldn't pay attention to Iowa. Huckabee is never going to win the nom. Just because he got some old white men to vote for him in Iowa, does not mean he has broad appeal.

I still can't get over Huckabee's fuckin' porkshop family. Man he has some ugly kids.

I feel better about 2008 all the time. Any of the top Democratic candidates will be well-poised to make mincemeat out of whichever loser the remaining couple dozen Republicans nominate.

That chick in Eli's story that couldn't decide between Obama and Huckabee . . . that shit scares me.

Good. Huckabee will go down hard. I'm surprised he's still polling well.

Oh man...what I wouldn't do to have the results on the D side from Iowa be Obama, Edwards, Clinton.

I'd love to see JRE and BHO on a ticket together. And then Hillary can go on to become an excellent Senate Majority Leader.

And as "unelectable" as I think Huck is, well, damn, I thought that about GWB, too. I'll fucking off myself if 1/20/09 sees us swearing in President Huckabee.

I agree Huckafuckingcrazy is a nut, but he does speak to the loony evangelical crowd that has threatened to stay away from the Mormon and Mr. 9/11. What if the Mormon asks Huckafuckingcrazy to be his veep - anybody think that helps the Mormon and more importantly get the batshit crazy evangelicals to the polls? I just want the whole thing to be over.

In the end it's all about the turnout in the swing states, and how many electronic votes are stolen by people too out of it to vote by permanent absentee mail-in ballot ...

Cause nobody could ever screw around with mail-in paper ballots.

I didn't say that.

I just implied it's harder to do that, @13.
