I don't know why we bother with letting Iowa dictate who we get to vote for. They get to weed out the crap? I think I can do that too.

That Huckabee article starts out with a bang (haha, punny):

"Early-rising and gut-toting Mike Huckabee literally fired the first round in this final stretch of campaigning here in Iowa, where the caucuses are eight days away."

I'm thinking that that is the best Freudian slip in this election so far: "gut-toting Mike Huckabee"...AMAZING. And the use of the detested literally.

Why do so many fat nerds like Ron Paul? There is some idiotic bond between them and that pack of lies and nonsense called Libertarianism. He is -so- full of shit, using roads paid for by confiscatory government. I want that shithead to pay for every damn public-supported -anything- that he uses to spew his idiocy.

I've been in Iowa for the last week at the in-laws for Christmas. My sense is that it's really close here with most people still undecided, but Edwards is going to win. Obama will only have a chance at first or second if there's a huge youth vote, as the middle-aged and older vote seems split between Edwards and Clinton.

I like Edwards. I want him to win... BUT restoring America as the moral authority in the world .. that shit bugs me. Ain't nobody the moral authority for the fucking WORLD dude.....
