There Is No Morality Without Religion

posted by on December 13 at 11:38 AM

Police in southern India are hunting for two men who attacked a Hindu holy man, cut off his right leg and then made off with it. The 80-year-old holy man, Yanadi Kondaiah, claimed to have healing powers in the leg.

He is now recovering from his ordeal in hospital in the city of Tirupati in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Dan, Dan, Dan. You have to pay more attention.

When they say, 'religion teaches morality', they meant _Christian_ religion. Not some polytheistic mumbo jumbo. They won't know morality until they have been converted. Silly Dan!

I supposed they believed the leg really has healing powers....

...but tell me, did the robbers seriously think the leg, detached from its host, would be of some value to someone?

I generally prefer my Christmas stockings to not have legs still in them.
