I may be the only one who thinks this but fuck the Croc. That place was skeezy, dirty and fucking disgusting. Ive seen many a show there staring at the duct tape hanging from the ceiling, the dusty gross wicker baskets, my feet glued to the floor from filth. I HATED that place. Fuck the Croc in the mouth forever. I dont give a shit.

Jesus, I've done shows there. Didn't really bother me, but I was sorta riding the white horse at the time.

The Croc hasn't been a great venue for years. Check out how Neumo's is sold out every night this week but the Croc hasn't booked a hip hop show in a decade. A venue's value lies in how it's run and the shows they book. The Croc's owner didn't care about it and the business reflected it. The booking was out of touch and the attendance reflected that. What more is there to talk about?

Back to the thread, Eh Sargon? Listen, do you think that by throwing his support to Bush in the runup to the war, you hero Dan Savage is responsible for any of the carnage at all? How come if I want to go to, say, KEXP, I go to kexp.org and click FUCKING PLAY, and sure enough, it fucking plays. Or I tune in the radio and there it is. Radio. Music. Tuneful sound. Amazing.

But 710 KIRO? Don't even try to get their shitty web site to work. Why is streaming media on the web so hard? But then I could try to get an ACTUAL RADIO to play 710 right? Yeah, right.

Who subsidizes this crap? Why? What is the point of a radio station nobody can hear? Well sometimes you can hear them and all you get is commercials.

Brave Republican Troll is on a smear campaign against Dan Savage today. He doesn't care about the children dying in Iraq. All he cares about is the fact that Savage supported the war at some point in the past.

My disgust cannot be overstated. When all you care about is smearing people who disagree with you while overlooking the suffering and death we are causing - and even supporting it - you are a lousy human being.
