Grr, 30th is still red? Hey, we could use some more blue down here in Fed Way. Rent's still low(ish) and we might have light rail someday. Plus there's all the big-box retail and theme restaurants you could ever wish for.

30th isn't "still Red" - it just isn't completely Blue - it has two Dems and one R - and the one R is pretty moderate.

I read "Eastside Republican" and thought "Wow, a Eastern Washington Republican switching parties, that is big." But, you meant "East side of the lake, not the mountains."

@7 - look, the Stranger is in Seattle - that's what we mean when we say Eastside.

The ones on the other side of the mountains we call "Delusional" Republicans.

At least many of the ones around here don't think evolution is a myth.
