Didn't someone here have the bright idea of a rubber-like filler that would fill the track crack (I just really wanted to say that) for bike safety? Wouldn't that also be a REALLY convenient way to keep crap like loose ball bearings out of the track crack, too? (See, I said it again.)

Attention, anyone at SLUT mission control that would be amenable to catching a clue?

It seems utterly bizarre to design a streetcar system that can't actually handle litter on the street. Flotsam ends up on the streets, period--bottles and branches and garbage bags and inexplicable shoes, the same things you dodge or squash when driving. Can the SLUT handle any of those things? Obviously the SLUT can't dodge anything, so it has to be able to clear its own tracks of debris or else squash anything in its way. If it doesn't have some sort of sweeping-scooping-trick to get shit out of its way, what good is it?

... I hate the acronym 'SLUT'. Hate it hate it hate it. Double-plus hate the way that y'all toss it around, hate the way male hipsters wear it on T-shirts, etc. etc.
However, if it will induce you to post more music videos from my youth, I will accept it. Perhaps there could be a 'SLUT' post about, say, 'Panic' on the streets of Seattle because of this ball-bearing sabotage. Or maybe we'll be forced to bid 'Bye Bye Bye' to the 'SLUT' after all these many failings, and you could post with the video for that early oughts classic by *NSYNC.
