posted by on December 10 at 11:53 AM

Looks like Stevens Pass and Mt. Baker are back in full operation (Crystal is partially open and Snoqualmie is still hoping to open Dec 15). Anyone go up this weekend?

I was at Stevens this weekend and busted my butt on my snowboard then met a cute guy who busted my butt in bed Saturday night!

How was the snow? Plentiful?

I was at Snoqualmie Pass yesterday (Hayak, specifically). There was several feet of rock-hard snowpack, no new snow worth speaking of.

Baker backcountry was hitting, ~1 foot of dry pow of firm base, well bonded in general, lots of LARGE (like 6-10 foot) avy debris from last weekend, south facing slopes were releasing avalanches a bit. Don't go w/o knowledge

People who call it "pow" sound like tools.
