Go Patriots!

By all means, let THAT be the reason we suck.

Seahawks don't get the bye and will face either the cowboys or the packers if they win their first, and then face the other if they win their second. superbowl my ass.

plus the 5 game winning streak was propped up by wins over terrible SF and STL, mediocre PHL, CHI and AZ. check it, their last 5 games were over the last place teams in the NFC East, North, and West.

This Seahawks team is going to crumble.

another fact. they are 1-2 against playoff bound teams. CLE, PIT and TB. They've had a soft schedule this year.

Steve Kelley's a joke.

The other teams in their division have a combined record of like 5-40, so, yeah, don't blow your wad, Seattle Times.

I was utterly pissed that the stupid Seagulls game in the afternoon meant that the Patriots game was blacked out.

12-27 in their division. it is ridiculous.

"Sodo Mojo" was the Ms slogan from 2001-2003, when the team accepted that the 2001 season was a once-in-a-franchise magical fluke they'll never repeat and stopped wanting to invite comparisons.

This year's Seahawks are terrible.

Steve Kelley makes me stabby.

Its a serious longshot, but I am hoping that the Hawks can make it to face the Cowboys in these playoffs. It'd be nice to get a little payback from last year. No team scares me less than the Seahawks.

If the Times had any useful editorial standards whatsoever, Steve Kelley would have landed on the street begging the Weekly for work a long, long time ago.

Also, the Mariners choked because the only reason they were in contention in the first place was because they were vastly overperforming. The Seahawks have the advantage of playing in a weak division in a weak NFC. They would have to suck really bad not to post a winning record.

Huh? What? Seahawks? I have been seriously comatose about football this year.

The Seahawks are just lucky they got moved to the NFC a few years ago. No one playing in the same conference as NE and Indianapolis can say that with a straight face.

Only the AFC Worst has a worse record than the NFC Worst. 10-29.

Correction: It's the AFC Least (East) that has the 10-29 record.

What are you douchebags Cowboy fans? Screw the boys. The Hawks will school them.

Dan, you have the staff to write a sports section in the Stranger. Just do it man. Thiel and Kelly are tools.

What #3 said...

The Seahawks road to winning the super bowl likely goes through Dallas, Green Bay, and then playing the Pats in Phoenix.

hey, isn't this my beat?

oh, no, it's really a jinx story, not a sports story. carry on.

I'm with SeMe. Any team can win it, so why not The Hawks. They have the distinct advantage of being as healthy and dangerous as they've been all season.

The Seahawks are going to lose their first playoff game by 40 points. Yawn.

20. The Bears already have a jinx. He's called Rex Grossman.
