Um, and after Iowa, we won't be bombarded with any more campaign messages, commercials, press releases, debates, YouTube songs, et al for at least four months, right?
Please say I'm right!
PUHHHHLLLLEEEEEEZZZZZEEEEE!
Oh man. Commercials already?
We won't see them down here in Oregon for a while. Really, we won't see them before our primary at all because it's so late. It's kind of nice.
I kind of hope Huckabee gets the GOP nomination. I'm very opposed to most of the things he stands for, but the debates would sure be entertaining, and he'd never win a national election.
Does it beat Huckabee’s Chrismas card?
There's SLOG for ya: Taking the 'cross' out of Christmas!
Merry Me-mass!
No bullet point for the biggest political news this year, Ron Paul shattering the single-day primary fundraising record?
The media may not have noticed, but the "long-shot" candidate raised more money yesterday, in that one day, than Mike Huckabee (the newly anointed "front-runner") has during HIS ENTIRE CAMPAIGN.
I have my fingers crossed that some of them come out against farm subsidies after Iowa. I'm probably just dreaming though.
Let's just hope they decide it's over before we caucus on Feb. 9th ...
But don't bet on it.
Too bad Michael Vick is an football player and not a boy scout. Things might have turned out better for him.
Isn't it 13 days away?
Wait, I was counting business days. *sigh*
