Lots of times I want to comment and say something smartass but sometimes some concepts are so dumb and come from the minds of such simpletons I am just speechless to comment.
Damn I hate religions.
Ooo! I am afraid I do not understand what is going on so I will just create some fantasy to explain it all away.
Jesus walks on water VS Frodo with a magic ring. Same fucking thing.
The world was created in 7 days. Give me a fucking break.
We all know the world came into existence because Horton heard a who!
An online university is not scary. There are load of religious universities that teach all kinds of bogus crap. It's up to the school districts to ensure that people get hired with the proper credentials.
ME: I have a Master's Degree.
CHORUS: In Science!
What kind of voodoo do you subscribe to? Everyone knows it was a plate of spaghetti.
I think I will just "CREATE" my own masters degree.
You know, since it is so convenient to do.
Umm let's see,..... I have a masters degree in Levitation. Ya I can fly you know and you can't prove I can't and since I have a masters degree in Levitation it must be true.
I am working on my degree in telepathy next. Ok now I know what you are all thinking. That's sooo stupid!
Well, fine I will keep my thoughts to myself from now on or "create my own school of thought.
Maybe I should just work on my beer drinking degree.
Creating degrees is soo much fun!
@1, you HERETIC!!!! BURN HERETIC!! BURN!!!!!!! I damn you to hell for your heretical beliefs!!! BURN AT THE STAKE YOU DEMON1
Oh, and Jesus is all about love.
*Religion is for the mentally challenged or the emotionally immature. Oh, and for the record religon and god was created by the cousins of apesso what did you expect? Infallability?
Chip @2, good thing that properly credentialed are crawling out of the woodwork to compete for teaching jobs.
It should be legal to smack people on the back of the head when they start with this nonsense.
Honestly, I'm delighted. I am ALL FOR having a class that examines (creationism) 'intelligent design' in a skeptical, scientific approach that compares it with evolutionary theories. Bitch deserves that kind of smackdown, and make no mistake, there will be one.
California isn't entirely 'anything goes' in this department. It recently defended the UC system's new(ish) college prerequisite list that had a major impact on how much religion private schools could teach. A rare victory it seems these days.
