What the hell is he even talking about?
A Hillary Nomination means a GOP win in November.
Didn't that same paper also endorse senile, pandering old fool John "gay sweaters!" McCain?
If that's not a cry their paper is totally irrelevant, then I don't know what is.
No more Clintons. Edwards/Obama '08!
from ending the Iraq war to shoring up America’s middle class to confronting global climate change
Not Hillary Clinton, who supported the Iraq War and refuses to recant that; whose health care plan is an industry-friendly interventionism that will only serve to raise prices much, much higher (who's gonna feel that?); and who has been absent for the last four environment-related votes.
Whatever.
I'd still vote for a crusty sock over any Republican candidate.
So long as that crusty sock isn't Ralph Nader.
I love him!
Yes, @2. And with Ron Paul being the 6 million dollar man...
@4 - I agree with you, except I don't think Obama or Edwards are any better. I know, I know ... Obama opposed the Iraq war from the beginning, but there isn't much difference between he and Clinton moving forward.
I agree with the Des Moines Register endorsement in that Clinton is the most prepared and qualified candidate. She runs circles around Edwards and Obama in terms of intellect. They've got her beat in the charisma department, but that's about it.
That Jack and Jill blog is my new fave.
This was especially tasty:

The most amazing thing to me about clips like this with Clinton has nothing to do with his politics. Just listen to him speak. Then ask yourself this question - what do you think GWB would sound like sitting there talking? (Or, rather, attempting to talk.) It's rather staggering, the more you think about it.
That's exactly what I thought, Wowza! Like him or not, Clinton is just a smart man. There's no way we'll see Dubya that at ease with facts and ideas on the Charlie Rose show or any interview longer than 5 mins. I know we joke about how dumb Bush is all the time, but it still stuns me every time I hear Clinton speak how stupid Bush really is by comparison....
I agree with @5, but I'd do a write in for Ron Paul for RTID Board Chair.
