I used to go to Nordstrom when I lived closer to one. It made the mall almost tolerable. We had a Marshall Field's until the great satan (aka Macy's) bought it. As we all know, Macy's has no class. The unclothed headless torsos at Macy's would have nipples for sure.

At a mall in Indianapolis a couple weeks ago there was a store with a half-naked female mannekin in the window. I thought, "well, that won't be there long"... A week later, same mall, same window, same nippleless torso. I don't care if it stays there, but I was surprised nobody complained.

But god forbid I should hold hands with my partner in the mall!!

The disappearance of the nipple bodes for a terrifying future for nipple fans like myself. Mannequins used to have ENORMOUS nipples, like little thumbs. Heavenly! Now, smooth and horrible. I blame Victoria's Secret, whose bras and models are always perfectly nippleless, and have managed to sexualize this anti-sexual look.

I find the women who are spending a fortune with the scowl on their faces to be offensive. If you're out shopping, don't attitude as though you're doing everyone else a favor. You are a materialistic see-u-next-tuesday, at least you should be a good mood when you're doing the only thing you probably enjoy besides yaking on that cellphone about what you bought while driving your SUV into my scooter.

Having worked in visuals for Nordstrom, I can tell you that one mannequin in the window with a swimsuit on and nipples protruding gained us 3 complaints in the first day. The store manager gave us two options - cover up the nipples or sand off all nipples from the female mannequins.

I thought we should place a sign in the window, "Our mannequins are anatomically correct in deference to God who made us in his image."

I'm a nordstrom employee. Visual was probably replacing their garments with new stock. Honestly, grow up. They're just pieces of art as far as I'm concerned. If your ten year old can't accept breasts as a norm, then maybe they're a bit sheltered.
