My favorite part of the Angry Young Men story:

"The four men then drove off and struck another vehicle before they were stopped by police while stuck in traffic at Denny Way and Taylor Avenue North."

See? Another good reason to not have an effective mass transit system.

Nobody mix up these four men with these other four men.

There's 4 of them, they have done some wild things, and everybody more or less wants to know "what were you thinking?" But still, different quartets here people.

nice links!

as to the first four, saying there is no "definitive evidence" is baloney. He said/he said conflicts result in homicide convictions sometimes. The Statesman is just mid fucked by the right wing fear machine.

As to quarter no. 2, obviously this means we should shut down Key Arena where their rampage started. And disallow SUV's in Seattle.

Here's a DC tax link that works: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/01/AR2007120101747.html?hpid=topnews

And is the mis-spelling of 'jackal' meant to be ironic?

RE: angry young men: after a recent conversation with a co-worker who is dating a Seattle cop, I will bet they are from Kent. Apparently, the majority of the folks the Seattle police arrest have just come from Kent, are on their way to Kent, or have a Kent address. And this sounds like typical Kent.

@7,

Why do I find that so easy to believe?

I happened on this scene right after it happened. Saw the police push their red SUV off the street. Saw the four dudes all cuffed and sitting on the corner. On opposite corner was someone with a professional looking video equipment filming the whole thing. Then he got in a white minivan w/out any markings. But there is someone out there with tape of the guys in cuffs.
