I think Ron Paul's a joke, but he's definitely not for the war in Iraq. He's barely even a republican.

Obama is hip and exciting but nothing reported about what he's gonna do.....

Ron Paul -is- a Republican. The neo-conservative, Christian Coalition bunch are not. He's a classic Goldwater/Taft Republican, and whether you're an extreme wingnut or a barking moonbat, I hope you can agree that his voice is the most refreshing from that side of the aisle.

And I wouldn't be so quick to call him a joke. Unless of course the Constitution is a joke.

Yeah, Ron Paul is as anti Iraq war as anybody. So that was a big fat mistake. But I was at that event and saw some of the Ron Paul sign-wavers saying Obama was thinking of nuking Iran. Say what? And another one was slamming Obama for being against slavery reparations. Which I cannot imagine Ron Paul is for.
Upshot: People are crazy.
