I love it whenever Drudge kind of lets the world know he's gay.

Drudge is still online in 2007? Why?

But what about gay rapists? Does Huckabee have compassion for those?

I wonder how people would react if instead of gays, Huckabee had suggested isolating fat people from the general population?

i'm sure the wingnuts will blame the liberal media for digging through huckabee's fifteen year old trashpile, despite drudge (red font, no less! he doesn't break out the red for just anyone). i also wouldn't be surprised if he's got a lot more than this nice piece of hatred sitting in his garbage. bigots like him don't cover their tracks very well.

off topic, but dan, have you seen this yet? nice stocking stuffer.

Come on, he's not gay, he was nearly married a few years ago (but to a guy or a gal?)

Uhm... #7:

Fat people /are/ the "general population". It's America. Home of the fries.

I listened to his radio show every weekend for the 8 or so years it was on, and never heard a shred of evidence that he was gay... well, he did often open the show by saying that his show was "the last word in weekend talk, eat your heart out, Wolf Blitzer" but that doesn't sound gay at all.

I always thought that the idea of quarantining people with HIV was the brainchild of some deeply closeted conservatives.

I suspect the theory is that if you can get "those people" out of the general population, you can continue to have furtive, unsafe sex with anonymous strangers, because you don't have to worry about contracting HIV.

Yes, that's dumb. But so was Reaganomics.

What's almost more sickening than Huckabee is fag-friendly Frank Rich's op-ed piece today in The Times in which he blows off the whole AIDS thing and describes Huckabee's campaign as "uplifting" and "Christian." Fuck Frank Rich!!! Dan, you should write more for The Times!

Heck, most beltway people know GWB is gay, but you MSM types cover it up, just because he's closeted.
