Laura Penn Leaves Intiman

She has been Intiman’s managing director for 14 years. She’s leaving to run the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, a directors’ and choreographers’ union.

I worked with Ms. Penn at the Rep many seasons ago and she was a true professional. The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers are very fortunate to have hired her.

hmmmm. since real ensembles are few and far between in theaters, breaking news always seems to be about the care and feeding of the institutions and their staffs.
