I spent my childhood in Baptist Sunday school, I love Christmas and all things it's supposed to represent. I've edited hundreds of Christmas commericals at work. We run a series of spots around Christmas with local ministers talking about what the season means to them. These are just fine with me, becasue they're geniune.

But, the political commericals we're being subjected to in SC are a far cry from that sentiment.

They are cold, calculated and carefully crafted to appeal to the voters on the far right and exisit only to get votes in our January primary.

I'm not the PC police and most of time could care less what people say. You can even call me a fairy to my face and all I'll do is laugh and just shake my head about what an idoit you are. Besides I kinda like being called a fairy.

But, the tone in these ads is unmistakeable, you'll see what I mean when they start playing in mass in your area.
