If only we could impose some sort of "death tax," maybe they wouldn't write about it, so much.

Tell me about it, Charles. I've been working on next week's Last Days, and it's making me want to die.

Speaking of death ... it appears that the son of a deceased prostitute referenced in this Stranger regret:

In the June 14 issue of The Stranger, reporter Jonah Spangenthal-Lee made light of a dead prostitute. He regrets the error. The phone call from her son the next day was really rough.

... is the same grief-motivated unfortunate rendered deceased by trooper's gunfire on I-5 near Federal Way on Christmas.

I don't think the death penalty really has that much affect on lowering crime, and it can be pretty heinous but those bastards who slaughtered that family really deserve something awful done to them.

They're having something awful done to them right now. And they will continue to have awful lives until the day they die.

There is far too little sex in the papers recently.

You realize, Charles, that by visiting them online you're killing their print ad revenue ...

This is why I just borrow the Times at the local diner or coffee shop instead. That way they get less money, but it's on the print side.

The death penalty is great for making people think they have justice, even if up to 50 percent of people executed are later proven innocent from DNA evidence ...

Mr. Mudede, could you please post YouTube videos of buff African dudes gyrating and dancing on the beach?

I awoke from a beutiful exotic dream this morning and the am channel 4 news was on. I was dreaming and comming in and out of my sleep(lol no pun intended) and dreaming my little erotic fantasy and then the death of that family permeated my eardrums and invade my fantasy. Death and more death. and sadness and it was like I felt freaking cheated, and shitty about the world and hated it even more. I wanted to go back to sleep, but it was time to wake up and pour my girlfriend a coffee and go to work. From now on its staying on VH1 all night long from now on. or the retro channel.

As the poets have mournfully sung,
death takes the innocent young,
the rolling in money,
the screamingly funny,
and those who are very well hung.

I keep wondering how long till the U.S. gets blamed for killing Bhutto because they wanted make the extremists look bad. Once the extremists figure out the may have miscalculated this seems like the next logical step.

And it was just a week or two ago that Slog was slamming the P-I for all the soft news on its front page.
