Yes, the debate is on now, and it's on the KUOW stream.

Dodd sounds rather presidential today. Maybe he's been listening to books on tape?

Gravel and his constant repetition of words makes me want to dig my own ears out with grapefruit spoons.

I love Kucinich. He has no chance of winning, but he makes the most amount of sense.

I'm sure Gravel's going to start his desperation act soon and start threatening to kill babies if someone doesn't listen to him.

@5 - Dodd will make a great VP for President Obama, just as Sen Clinton will be a great US Supreme Court Justice.

I hope Richardson really cleans up this time around. He did pretty well in Nevada and he's totally the best candidate. He just needs to show it.

@ 7:

I totally agree with Dodd being the best VP partner. He's got an air of majesty around him when he speaks, even if he doesn't have too many groundbreaking ideas.

The one thing I really have decided, as a result of all these debates, is that Dodd would be a good counterweight. Now, obviously, he wouldn't work as a choice should the MSM win and get their pre-chosen choice of Sen. Clinton, but for most of the other possible choices he would add rather than subtract from the ticket, IMHO.

Amusingly, I started out more pro-Biden and anti-Dodd, but I've switched my regard for both individuals as a result of the debates.

I don't see Hillary picking anyone other than Kucinich as her running mate. He has the green cred to counter-balence her omni-centric policy views.

Plus, Kucinich is shorter. Never underestimate the power of height in photo ops - they had to choose weird camera angles for the ones with Gore and Bush at the White House to not make it obvious Bush was a lot shorter.

Could NPR please replace Steve Inskeep? Or could he get a job at CNN where his smarmy, smirky attitude would be more in keeping with the network's role?

Yeah, Dennis being a weepeople does make Hillary look more large and intimidating.

He's the closest thing to Gore going into this next election, and he has a lot of potential. Plus, his adoration of the absurd strikes the nerd vein in me.
