2008 Uh, About That Iranian Nuclear Threat…

onLooks like American intelligence agencies don’t agree with Dick Cheney and George Bush:
WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 — A new assessment by American intelligence agencies concludes that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 and that the program remains on hold, contradicting an assessment two years ago that Tehran was working inexorably toward building a bomb.

I'm shocked.
Wow, this changes everything!
Not.
Psh. Like that ever stopped them before.
I'm guessing that this will lead to someone in the intelligence services being fired and/or attacked using the media.
No! The WH lying to us again!
Who would have thought?
Oh, wait, let me turn off my shock and awe setting.
They better watch their backs or Cheney and Rove et al will out them ...
I agreed with The Stranger that America should attack Iraq. Now we must invade Iran for the protection of Israel. The war is going great. Permanent American airbases have been build in Iraq that Israel can use to attack Iran. Sooner or later Iran must submit to Israel.
The Torah clearly states that Judaism will once again rise up as a light of righteousness for all nations. The sooner we bomb Iran into submission, the sooner peace will arrive for Israel.
This report was ready a YEAR AGO, but Cheney has blocked it until now. http://www.ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=39978
Let's not forget that Haliburton seems to have sold nuclear reactor components to Iran as recently as a couple years ago:

Sorry, botched the block quotation there.
Why is a story like this not big news in the American media? Conspiracy? Coincidence?

Don't have nukes? Well they thought about how nice it would be to have nukes, and that's enough to bomb them back to the stone age! Oh, the joys of the preemptive strike doctrine.
Well, I'm sure we can trust everything the White House tells us about other nation's WMD programs. Their credibility is ~solid~ there.
YELLOW CAKE PEOPLE!
Fuck you, Phil.
@4 Seconded. This is a career ender for competent, honest, and dedicated agents.
