That was so well written I stopped at "Two examples:".

This is so non-news. Why did you post this? You're tired of hearing about Absinthe, but you're not tired of what Bill O'Reilly has to stay--about anything? I'm confused. Because it isn't like he addressed a single fucking matter worth arguing/discussing. This is just more food for the fans.

And remember, if you give him hits, he will cum.

This is a newspaper column? First of all, as I remember it, the P-I refused to run a smear story on two unidentified ferry passengers. No one knew who they were and they have not been charged with anything, so the P-I made the responsible decision of respecting their privacy and civil rights. Good for them.

In regard to the Mark Cuban movie, O'Reilly seems to be more offended that Americans are talking about rape and murder than by the fact that it was committed in the first place. The disgusting aspect of this story is that American soldiers raped and murdered a girl and her family. It is only human that people would talk about it, try to make sense of it, and be angered by it. What the hell does O'Reilly want? That we all pretend it never happened? Or keep our mouths shut like good Germans? I call bullshit on the Rumsfeldian code of silence.

And finally, why is Bill O'Reilly even still making noise? Is anyone listening? Didn't his 15 minutes expire long ago? Shut it up, you pinhead.

Why help the anti-American traitor Bill O'Reilly get more salary for all the web hits.

It's a shame how much Bill O hates those of us who have served in the active military and died for his lies.

My opinion of the PI just went up a little bit. I mean if Bill O. hates them they must be doing something right.

Yeah if the P-I were to have actually posted that picture, and the men were FOUND TO BE TERRORISTS plotting to attack the ferries... who knows.. maybe the media would be worth a damn.

But the P-I much like many of you are apathetic to taking responsibility for assisting the greater public good, and would rather politicize something that should have been a common sense decision.

Not posting that picture might come back to cost you and many other Americans their lives.

But you'll still have the Civil Libertarian high road to walk until that day....

Perhaps the P-I is learning the consequences of unsubstantiated suspicion. Remember the crane operator incident. The P-I reported on unsubstantiated suspicions and basically ruined the guy's life. Why would they want to ruin two additional lives. Besides which, O'Reilly really only appeals to a certain mind-set - everyone else needn't be so concerned because that certain mind-set is already about 40 percent of the country and not likely to get any larger. It's an important group but they really are the minority. They're harping. Underused but useful description.

I think you meant 30 percent, chas. It's a rapidly shrinking pool of deadenders.

@9,

They ruined his life? They certainly should've shut the fuck up about it, but I haven't seen any evidence of life ruinage.
