My question is, what is Dan Savage going to do to him?

At first I thought he had some sort of pipi longstocking pigtails. That would have been interesting. But no, just your everday crappily knitted hat. When I see stuff like this knitted unevenly on 12's I think to myself - a culture of immediate gratification - provided that you can feel gratified wearing crap that seems to have been knitted by the mentally retarded.

The first 3 comments are remarkably similar to thoughts I had while watching this. I seriously thought our artist friend had pig tails. Hysterical. Best of luck to him.

Throw a Tomato???
This guy is great. He is doing far more than most people would attempt. If he uses the word "like" many times over that is forgivable in this circumstance because he intelligent and is up at 8 in the morning dedicated to something he believes in. He is passionate.
I really want to see how this turns out and if the Stranger has caused him to be harassed that would be a shame because he is doing something interesting, far more interesting that sitting at home playing video games blabbing on a cell phone or texting useless gossip like most people his age. Well many not his age text and have fare less passion and imagination than him.
You Better get a Picture of him in the finished piece. If I was in Seattle I would be there documenting
all of it.
HE IS GREAT!

This guy is friggin awesome! A+ for him! I can't wait to see him standing within the urban jungle as the urban jungle! Tell this kid he rocks! Maybe he should hook up with the public intern! :)

After all this trouble, I hope he decides to stand there for an hour or two with a donation bucket at his feet.

Gee. You have to love ignorant, those self-centered elites snarking away at somebody actually working on an artistic project. Like, way to go, grownups! When's the last time you got off your cheetos-stained butt-cheeks and keyboards and applied your world-weariness to an act of creation other than your morning BM?
