I'm excited. That's an extra hour of quality drinking time.

Are the bars actually allowed to stay open for the extra hour?

Excuse me, but where is the cute little clock cartoon figure or silly clock changing photo to go with that headline?
Are we not feeling creative today Amy?
Staying open late is actually written into the liquor code. See this post: http://gayseattle.blogspot.com/2007/11/daylight-savings-time-bar-hopping.html

Because drugs in my teens turned my brain to mush, this confuses me every year. Doesn't by falling back it become.. oh. Earlier, I guess. ?

Thanks! BTW. I forget this one out of every four years and show up late to things, so this reminder was actually really useful.

I hate the time change. Now it'll get dark here at 5. Thank god potatoes and starches will get me through the next few months.

Already did this last weekend. And with Edinburgh being so far North, it's dark depressingly early now.

Neighbours does the same thing every year with the usual last call on 1:15 AM and then at 2 am announced another hour of drinking. Unfortunately, many had already left before they pulled this little stunt. With the underage afterhours crowd not allowed to enter the bar the crowd was a little sparse.
