<description><![CDATA[<p>Hmm, showing my age here a little, but the  thing about 'The Champions' wasn't that they were super human, but that ALL their abilities were at the leading edge of human ability, they could jump, run, hear, see as well as the very best that any human could do.  Alexandra Bastedo was a babe and William Gaunt was excellent in 'No Place Like Home'. Stuart Damon appeared as a character called Alan Quartermaine in a medical soap, wonder where they got the name from '!</p>]]></description>
