This is why not just girls but boys should be vaccinated for HPV.

Their offices are one floor down from mine.

Hmmm, interesting point that the Minister makes but I do not see Indonesia developing a vaccine on their own. Sad how we have painted ourselves as the greedy imperialist power that the minister would think we would develope a vaccine and then prevent the poor in the world from being able to get it. The hatred the world has for us knows no bounds and I do not blame them

@5 - I seem to recall there being one of those in an old issue of The Hulk. I believe his name was Groot. And I'm not making this up.

Indonesia is the nation the worst hit by bird flu, with a total of 91 human deaths recorded.

Mrs Supari has, however, steadfastly refused to share samples of the deadly H5N1 strain of the disease until she receives assurances they will not be used to make expensive pandemic vaccines.

For its part, WHO wants to make sure the virus has not mutated to a form that spreads more easily between people.

The Indonesian health minister is a Goddamned moron whose idiocy may lead to the deaths of tens of millions of people worldwide.

By the way, a more recent story says that Dr. Gaspari has found that Dede probably has a rare disorder of his immune system that allowed his warts to grow very much more than would be usual, and more importantly, his condition might be greatly improved with retinoids (synthetic vitamin A). He may be nearly cured within 3 to 6 months. Yay!

So, we souldn't build planes because only rich people can afford to fly on them. Or cars, because they were orig only for the wealthy.

I hope he gets better, Than's one tough guy, I don't think I could live like that.

I wonder if the genetic code for this man would show the cause of his affliction.

WTF?!?

Supari is p.o.'ed that this human being granted an American doctor permission to take a sample of his own blood in order to test it, and possibly find a cure for his grotesque, debilitating disease -because the Indonesian Gov't might lose out on potential income if a vaccine is developed?!?

That is so effed-up, I don't even know where to begin...
