So, I've waited for the new Christopher Hitchens since its release months ago. I think originally I was number 538 in queue. I've since moved up to the 300's somewhere.

By the way, the library is a pretty good resource for CDs, too. You know, when you really only want one or two tracks which are unavailable from online vendors.

Now I work at a video store and school is in full swing so videos come from work and the only library I visit is the university's for work.

On another note...John Waters' - This Filthy World just came out on DVD...I recommend it if only for the great behind-the-scenes anecdotes (for the fans).

I've got 30 items on hold currently, 4 of which are DVDs that I personally got them to buy via web Purchase Requests. And in the past month I've submitted new Requests for 11 new DVD sets, a mix of U.S. and UK TV shows. One of my other Hold items is a CD set with 60 people in front of me and only one copy; if each person keeps it out for 2 weeks, I'll finally be getting it somewhere around 2010. I've gotten into the habit of routinely cruising bookstores and DVD racks for new items to add to the list. I figure that I'm paying taxes for it, and might as well use it.

I love my "A Date With John Waters" CD!
