The USA is led by a tyrannical warlord. Awesome. How did we become Russia?

Need cheering up fellow liberals? Go home and rent Grapes of Wrath with Henry Fonda. Actually I think I will send Bush a copy of the DVD. There was a time in America when our leaders believed in paying for services for the American people.

Please note the Iraq War, the Iran War, and the Afghanistan War are in a different funding bill, so if he vetoes that bill (with enough funding to bring our troops home from Iraq by 2009) he basically vetoes the funding for the war itself.

Hoist.

Petard.

But it is a bit of a game of chicken right now.

Prediction: Congress will pass the funding bill with the Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan money attached; Bush will veto it; the Dems in Congress will cave and vote him the war funds in a clean bill.

That's the downside of relying on a Dem majority that's scared shitless of being blamed for whatever might happen in Iraq after US troops leave.

Hoist.

Petard.

Us.

Yeah, whatever ... prepare for a lot of this shit. We have a stubborn child in the White House, and a Congress that won't serve as parents.

Just wake me up in 15 months or so.

point 1: tsm, burying your head is no solution, chicken. Wake up in 15 months and be less free than you are now. Lame. Congress are on the corpo-payroll anyway.

point 2: the 'stubborn child' in the white house is clearly a distraction for our attention ... a fool to serve as a target of wrath while the big yummy money-power deals go down elsewhere. has anyone seen Cheney in the last 10 months? wtf is he doing?

Glad to see that they feel so comfortable that they're willing to openly veto education and fund the military. Perhaps we should just send all the uneducated poor to military school instead. We'll need more cannon fodder soon.

Jus' sayin'.

The war with Iran is going to be a blood bath.

How much longer until the world stops appeasing us?

He signed a bill that the House and Senate passed to him. Fuck Bush (not the real thing Yuk!) but A big bad fuck for those that send this sort of spending horror his way. So remember folks, before we bitch slap that idiot from Texas, we need to seriously bitch slap our Reps in that whore house known as D.C.

What's ambiguous? This has been the trend since 1980. The left has lost out to neoliberalism. Get used to it. It's just going to get worse on that front until people realize how shitty the society they've created is.
