I want to see the Sierra Club get to work on transit-only lanes up and down I-5 from Everett to Olympia. Tomorrow.

Last night while walking from the Cha Cha to the Twilight exit I think I passed a group of people talking about this, at least they were talking about someone singing REM's "It's The End of The World As We Know It" which I don't think is a common song to talk about.

I thought the Burgess bit was spot on. Taking money from CWA to do their bidding is exactly like slapping a woman across the face for 10 bucks.
I voted for the fuck head because I thought he's grown but seeing him say "blah blah blah" about being part of the propoganda arm of a hate group makes me wish the Dela would've one.
Tim, just because you won the election doesn't mean that what you participated in has been forgiven. Good for you Ari.

Up and down I-5 from Everett to Olympia?

Um, there are places where that makes no sense. Far better to build high speed passenger rail from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles CA for a lot less money.

correction:
...makes me wish that Della had won.

Will - Not if you convert existing lanes, it doesn't.

Mike O'Brian, what a douche!

And the 'blah, blah, blah' remark by Burgess totally pissed me off. That was beyond douche, that is pure dick head arrogance.

Oh, well, that's different then, @7.

But it won't happen.

Just a note on the election in general, voter turnout according to

http://vote.wa.gov/elections/WEI/VoterTurnout.aspx

in the 3 counties was an abysmal 23.57 percent in Pierce County, 25.20 percent in King County and and 25.5 percent in Snohomish County. The highest percentage turnout was in actually the lowest population counties.
Basically this election was decided by a minority of a minority of a minority. Sad..:(

Ain't absentee ballots wonderful?

@9: I know. That's why I voted for Prop. 1.

@9: I thought all sorts of great, wonderful things could happen if only Prop. 1 was defeated!

#10 check your numbers - King still has 199,000 to count bringing the turnout to about 45% still bad but better.

Offering Tim $10 to hit someone was asinine and a low blow. I'd have blah blahed you too.
