Hitler was a mean son of a bitch too. I have never thought of 'mean' as a quality that anyone should look for in a U.S. President. Ayy.. what have we come to?

Rudy is hot. That's the only thing he has going for me, and it won't bother my democratic vote unless he does something for me. You give a little, you get a little.

People are stupid.

Stupid or not, Betty Larson of Amherst has nailed in 13 words Rudy's best chance to run away with the marbles.

Don't think it can happen? Two words: Ronald Regan.

I hope they nominate him.

Rudy makes me feel safe from seeing another Republican in the White House.

@Poe - You think that squinty rat-faced douchebag is HOT? Dude, you have no taste whatsoever, unless you're being sarcastic, which I hope you are, for your sake.

Remember, Hitler didn't "seize" power--he was elected by the people...

I think as more people get to know what an asshole he is, the more he'll decline. Besides, Mitt Romney is in the lead in three early primary states, thank God. HRC will destroy him next year.

i really wish ron paul would go up against dennis kucinich.

that's a real choice, and both of them want us out of iraq. now.

People need to get over the Hitler analogy. Yeah yeah Hitler was democratically elected ...to the head of the fucking Weimer Republic. Shit, I could have toppled that democracy. Wasn't like those wacky Germans had any real democratic traditions.

He'll lock up the nomination, despite the strong protestations of the far Right, and the whole campaign will be about "keeping us safe"--so look for a lot of scare-mongering, and look for it to not work very well.

that's a real choice, and both of them want us out of iraq. now.

If they agree, then it's not a real choice is it?

@16 They disagree on many other things. And they're both quite...principled. They do not alter their opinions depending on circumstances. It's why I've got a fondness for both of them and neither has a chance at a nomination

I should add that that's their image, at least. I am not quite a Ron Paul expert and even further from a Kucinich expert.
