that's totally just as good as the art on the hawk's nest tower.

Cool!

The painting even appears to have a chance of getting tackled if the play goes way out of the back corner of the end zone.

Not that I wish this on him or anyone, but I think it would've been hilarious if he were interrupted in mid-stroke by a tumbling ballcarrier knowing him and his easel over.

Seriously, though, nice work on his part.

Harun Farocki made a great video installation based on the other football, specifically, the most recent World Cup final (the Zidane headbutt game). Using 12 screens, he showed the game from as many different perspectives. One screen showed footage from the security cameras around Berlin's Olympic Stadium, one showed a guy clicking between camera angles as the producer's voice was heard giving directions. One was a video game simulation of the entire game, one was a chart of every pass, dribble, and kick. And on and on. It was amazing.

Is this the same guy who has done those murals on the bus lane south of downtown? He really is challenged by faces, isn't he?

That last face looks like a wild animal or something; I want to say lemur but that's not right. Maybe a crazed lemur.

Not that I could do better, but really. And it's just weird seeing a picture of a big easel on the field- how does he approach the Seahawks to do this? Or maybe they approach him, I'm not sure which would be weirder...

I can't get over this. Maybe I missed something, but did he start out by painting the Seahawk logo all over that? Or did they give him a canvas with the logo all over it and then he painted over it? I'm assuming it's the latter, but that is so bizarre. Help me understanddd!
