I love it! I saw those on my way in to work today, too and despite running late had to run across the street and snap a few shots myself. I'll post 1 or both to the Stranger flickr site later tonight.

I think the fact that none of them pair is very interesting. Some commenters see a one-legged woman or drag-queen, I see vengeance. A spurned lover, an angry room-mate, someone pissed off and acting it out. I imagine someone plotting how best to hurt and taking the half that destroys the whole.
