As a regular reader of the print obituaries (trust me, it's fun, although I'd change the name of the page to "The Do Not Call List") I thought it was strange to see a listing headed by an Ezell's logo. Could this be a new revenue source for the paper? As expensive as obits are (over $100/inch), I wouldn't care if my death notice was brought to you by the fine folks at Papa John's Pizza. Look for it next week.

Remind me NOT to eat the chicken there. Heart attack anyone?

Here come the sanctimonious vegan ho-bags. It doesn't say anywhere what he died of; if it was a heart attack it would have. Ezell's is a great institution, and Stevens was a good man.

I'm not allowed to eat at Ezell's. The one near me has a sign that says they only want customers who "love and honor god".

Yes, but they don't specify WHICH god...I choose to interprete it as the Great Chicken Liver God...

@8, Good call. I would go if they had a sign saying everyone is welcome.

One time a took a bite of Ezell's and the juices dripped on my shirt. When the grease quickly dried it was so hard to touch that it scared the crap out of me. Probably no different than any other fried food but this incident happened to freak me out.

I'm in pretty tight with the Flying Spaghetti Monster, but the chicken sounds good, too. And the sweet potato pie.
