But ... but ... the President says we're turning the corner!
We've turned so many corners (every six months!) that we must be running around a dodecahedron.
I'm getting dizzy. I need a surge protector.
nobody cares. with no draft, it barely matters to the vast majority of americans, who would vote for an anti-war candidate if they were given the chance, but who won't say peep when they are asked to chose between two pro-war candidates in 08. candidates who have plans for peace with honor, but not right now.
Maybe no draft for you, but just tell that to diplomats in the State Dept forced to go to Iraq or all the people who retired from the military that got forced to go to Iraq.
Whatever happened to benchmarks? Does no one remember the benchmarks?
