Why does activating the comment posting window keep flipping the SLOG page into the comment posting window? And this cat thing, what the hell. The LOLDog brigade needs to stop sniffing butt and get busy.

@1: my bitch exactly. I thought it was my computer, but no. Everytime I try to look at comments, it opens up the standard new window, and then the main window flips to the same thing as well. WTF, tech people?

Last week it was the cat who looked like Hitler. Before that was one who looked to be the size of a small heifer (I think maybe he ate Hitler Cat later). The cat on this week's Stranger cover being held by a donkey fisherman looks normal enough, but is probably very confused. I know I was.

@10;1 - Getting the same thing. It happened right after a firefox update though, what browser are you two using?

@ 1, 10, 14, and 15: IE has been doing the same thing. Tried emailing the webmaster, but s/he is on vacation. I then forwarded my original email to support@thestranger.com, but I haven't heard back yet. Probably Monday they'll look at the website.

The technical errors may have been precipitated (sp?) by something I did: On Friday, everything was normal EXCEPT there was no scroll bar in the Comments window. I emailed the webmaster, describing the problem and I got a response back saying the problem had been fixed. Just to make sure, I went to the Slog website and that's when I found the problem that 1, 10, 14, and 15 describe. :P

Computers are a pain, aren't they?

Me too. Same as #16 -- first the scrollbar went away, then it came back but Comments open in BOTH a separate window and in the main Slog screen.
