I predict that the Radical Red Bushie Rossi will lie in public on this issue, saying one thing to the average voter, and another in coded and uncoded emails and letters to his extremist base.

Government should stop trying to force itself on women.

Ask her if she'll sign a civil unions bill this next term Josh. She doesn't necessarily have the support of this homo and I'm fucking tired of the dems in power thinking I'm willing to continue to put up with their BS of not being able to get it done when they control both houses of the legislature and the governor's office. Will she put the power of the Governor's office behind doing the right thing and passing a bill that really does something. I don't give a shit if it's called marriage or not- I'm just as happy at this point for a civil union bill that equalizes the rights for all of us. I'm willing to leave marriage for another day.

I'd like to see if the radiant Chris G. has the fortitude to actually stand up for something.

I'm usually not a typo-pointer-outer, but I thought this was hilarious:

"...Rossi voted to fun abstinence-only education programs..."

Fun abstinence-only = Accidental oxymoron!

good catch, t_j. not only doesn't it work ... oh, wait, um, I recall having fun while being abstinent. Chess for example. Strip chess. So long as we kept our undergarments on ...

@2

The Governor and the State Legislature did pass both a Domestic Partner Bill and the Anti-Discrimination Bill (after over 25 years of trying). That might not be the whole enchilada, but they are solid accomplishments which should not be belittled. If Rossi had been Governor, those bills would have been vetoed.
