No Forgive For Amanda

posted by on November 21 at 8:08 AM

The headline yells: “Freed Meredith Suspect Will Never Forgive Knox.” But what African number one really said is:

“I do not think I will ever be able to forgive Amanda. I ask myself: why did Amanda draw me into this? I was trying to help that girl out with some work.”
African number one is not sure if he has the moral strength and length of life to forgive Amanda for pulling an old American trick on him.

African number one is not only free but has great taste in sweaters:
wmeredith620a.jpg However, African number one showed no taste when he named his bar La chic.

As for African number two:

To borrow some words from the British: Some mothers have ‘em.

This is a Facebook picture of Giorgio Armani standing with the man some mothers happen to have. xinsrc_0921104201012656315197.jpg

And for last, the Grant Cogswell connection:

After reading media reports of the [Meredith Kercher] murder, a Roman witness contacted Perugia police to report having received an SMS reading: “For me, tonight or tomorrow, Meredith dies.”

The message was sent on October 31 - the eve of the murder and Halloween - the day that Italian television was due to broadcast an episode of the medical soap opera Grey’s Anatomy in which the main character, Dr. Meredith Grey, nearly dies in a ferry accident.

None of the suspects in the Kercher case was linked to the SMS.

Wasn’t Cogswell in that episode of Grey’s Anatomy? I believe he played a fireman.

It is indeed a very nice sweater. The classic joined raglan sleeves are particularly nice. The collar too is properly knit up from the selvedge of the body. Most sweaters these days are disappointing. Even if they are knit up in good wool with a machine that has light enough tension to leave a good texture, the pieces tend to be sewn together as if it's a piece of couture.

Is that his lawyer to the left? I want to suck on his face. Right after disposing of that ridiculous tie.

An "old American trick"? You mean the tradition of pointing the finger at a random black guy? Perhaps that doesn't work quite as well in Italy.

Ugh. Italians from Chicago are the worst.

Mr. Poe, suck on his face until all that squishy look goes away! His face looks like it was made out of play dough.

Whoa, Charles was just really funny and totally not confusing or weird. What is going on?

Wait, when did this murder happen? Wasn't that episode of Grey's Anatomy from like a year ago?

i am so utterly confused by all this. i'm pretty sure there's an actual news story buried in here, but it would probably be a lot less interesting if i had any idea what the fuck you're talking about.

It's a great sweater, I have to agree. Maybe for some people great sweaters are old hat and nothing worth mentioning, but from where I sit, it's news. Actual news, and worth talking about.

Yeah, Grant was in the episode, one of the firemen with a tank on his back and a full helmet.

They're doing reruns on some of the other channels like Lifetime. Probably why you saw it.

Care to explain the Britishism? Not all of us know that one.

"to forgive Amanda for pulling an old American trick on him"

how about the ol' African trick of committing a crime and screaming "racism!!!" oh, guess we can't complain about that. It's racist to talk about what everyone knows is true but black people (and those overwhelmed with white guilt)don't like to hear

SMS = IM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_message_service

And other countries generally broadcast American shows well after their original airdates, hence Italy airing the ferry episode of GA on Halloween.

More importantly, where was Grant Cogswell when the murder took place? When did he last see Meredith Kercher alive???

Thank you Charles for this great post.

The freedom African #1 has gained is welcome but transitory; until the wretched of the Earth arise and wrest the means of production away from the kings of the mines and rail and finance, we will all be victims of oppression, and mediocre clothing options. The people want their due, and a sweater that breathes but yet is stylishly form fitting.

As for the American Woman, her deciet and lack of regard for others are her nature, but also her undoing, she is then, therefore the quintessential face of imperialism and the privileged elite, using other humans as chattel, for her own ends. It is also quite distressing to see that she does most her shopping at coldwater creek, or the outlet malls.

Armani is an ally for the cause, no wait Comrades, hear me out. Yes many the corporate oppressor sports his wares now, true, but the Revolution is the great equalizer, and once it is complete his keen sense, and quality suits will be available to all, factory worker or party official, farmer or schoolteacher, man or woman, young or old. It will be glorious!!

The Internationale, and better fashion, Will be mankind!

Old American trick is right! Thanks for putting your finger on it, Charles.

As for you, jane doe, refusing to admit that there could possibly be any validity to claims that black men in this country are systematically framed for transgressions against white women is a reaction based in the same "white guilt" you clearly don't believe you're "overwhelmed" by.

Poor, poor white people for being implicated in racism. The burden on you is surely far greater than any history/current reality of being routinely suspected (accused, convicted, lynched) of rape and murder.

Poor baby. Let mammy nurse your hurt fucking feelings.

I was in that episode, yes. Now I am in Guaymas, Sonora, the town Tacos Guaymas is named for. The world is tiny that way. I havenīt really been following the Italian story, so I donīt know what the SMS is. The mass media are murder junkies (that was also the name of the band fronted by GG Allin) and should really pay attention to something people can have an influence on, just saying. I would like to also say for the record that I think Grayīs Anatomy is really, really stupid. I just needed the money.

For instance, there`s a flotilla of plastic bags, TWICE THE SIZE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, brought together by ocean currents, halfway between San Francisco and Hawaii. Does this freak anyone out? I canīt even find a picture of it. Give THAT some airtime.
