The United Arab Emirates has a little gay rape problem. Yesterday, this made the front page of the New York Times. Today, there’s this.
Swiss officials announced Wednesday they will try the brother of the ruler of the United Arab Emirates for allegedly assaulting an American man who rebuffed his sexual advances in a Geneva hotel.Sheikh Falah bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, 37, is accused of attacking Silvano Orsi, 39, with a belt in the posh La Reserve hotel four years ago.
Swiss prosecutor Daniel Zappelli said Wednesday that the case will be heard before a three-man tribunal. If convicted the Sheikh could be sentenced up to two years in prison.

Under their law no rape occurred, since there weren't four adult male Muslims to witness the rape.

But, in essence, the witness requirement is true for rape in the most Islamist countries.

Got four adult male Muslim witnesses? Then you can get a conviction for rape.
Got three or less? Than the woman (or in this case the male) victim broke the law.
Gee, Will, are you sure the law is the same for male and female victims? What IS your professional legal position?
