Kill Whitey

posted by on November 5 at 15:55 PM

I’m all for hunting, but this is a sin.

Minnesota Woman Shoots Rare Albino Deer on Opening Day of Hunting Season.

“She said it was thrilling to see the rare animal but one hundred times more exciting to take it home.”

Ugh.

I'd have shot it. And remembered to cut it's throat. BTW, first time you kill a deer you need to drink some of the blood. (Part of an ancient native american tradition. So you take the spirit of the kill with you or something like that)

Well, watch out for the buckshot. Venison is kind of gamy, so I prefer to cook it with fiddleheads in butter as a side dish, and a good astringent red wine.

That's fine, I didn't like that guy in the first place. Too preachy.

Man, there's some Greek myth out there about horrible punishment for killing one of Artemis' sacred stags or something....

Slog has helped me cut down on how often I check DrudgeReport.com

Drudge is still around? Except for the beltway MSM, I don't think anyone reads him ...

Why is it a sin? It's a deer with an undesirable trait. You don't want it mating and spreading those genes around. It's not some separate species that is rare, it's a rare deer. If we hadn't fucked up nature and practically eliminated predators, such a deer would have very little camouflage and been eaten already. That said, in most places it's illegal because some hunters give the rest of us a bad name and the DNR is worried about idiots shooting goats and such.

Yep, if it's beautiful and strange, kill it. After all, everything must have its use, right?

Hope she likes the way it looks hanging on her wall. What a meaningful existence it will have for us then.

I hope that lady doesn't live around me. We have 4 albino squirrels on the block, and countless black squirrels across the street at Macalester. I'm hoping they all keep breeding for some epic clash of titans in coming years.

No one loves hunters like animals love hunters.

ugh... I just saw the video about this.

That skank doesn't even have room for it... so I guess if what she said is true:

"it was thrilling to see the rare animal but one hundred times more exciting to take it home.”

It stands to reason that it is a thousand times more thrilling to sell the carcass to Cabelas and get the fuck out of the trailer park.

The deer would probably have wound up as roadkill anyway. There are way too many of them, and an albino deer will kill or maim a minivan full of kids just as easily as your run of the mill brownish colored deer.

And we all know minivans full of kids are a rare and special gift to the world.
