All great choices. I look forward to finding out which other Dem will be VP to President Obama.

But I'll be at Hale's Ales on Thursday with the 36th - gonna be fun!

Okay, as much as I love to gratuitously hate on Edwards, I ... can't fault him for this. Come on. He just doesn't want to endorse Hillary because it's admitting defeat for his own primary campaign. Of course, he'll endorse her when the time comes.

i know... you might as well start asking when he will concede. you know, if he starts doing poorly in the primaries.

Exactly, it's like 4204 - they never conceded and now they've won.

This post makes it sound like Edwards bad-mouthed Hillary. The reality is waht John Edwards actually said almost word for word what Barak Obama said and this post is not telling the real truth.

Nope, Obama said he would support the nominee and Edwards refused to say.
It's a standard question and it does not mean you are conceding defeat.

Edwards -- what an asshole.

This is a fucking stupid post. While Slog is rightly making fun of the Weekly's blog for getting basic facts wrong, Slog is doing the same thing. Edwards clarified this more than a day ago:

Wow, I seem to be the only one who likes Edwards. Keep in mind he's the only one to strongly advocate for the public transportation that you all love so much. I'm glad that he's not just saying that he'll go for a democrat. He should support whoever he wants if he doesn't get the nomination. I hate it when people pick a party just because it's a party. As we've seen with this congress, the Dems aren't as magical as we hoped they were...

Yes lets continue to make the story about the circular firing squad (or better yet, hand them bullets and suggest with your questions where to aim at each other) instead of asking questions about, oh I don't know, the ISSUES.... no, we have to keep the story about the race itself, blah blah blah...

obama said he would support "the nominee", certainly different from saying he would "support hillary". and it avoids the question just as much. it's just a more clever way of doing so.

Here's what Edwards said, "I fully expect to support the Democratic nominee and I fully expect to be the Democratic nominee."
