I learned my lesson last year: I'm not even going to pay attention to Strangercrombie until about 30 minutes prior to the end of bidding.

good idea, comte.

I'll bid at 29 minutes before.

after all your tube and baud experiences you are just now learning not to bid on an auction until the very end? i hate to break it to you, but if your aim is to win, you have to focus on the last 15 seconds. or, you know, have a lot of money.

well, i could write a cron job for perl to do it, but i like to handroll my bids.

the point of auctions is to pay the least to get what you want.

The point of Strangercrombie is to raise money for FareStart. And ogle hot models.

I admit, Infrequent, I think I've only purchased two things from Ebay since it started business, and those were items that apparently weren't in particularly high demand.

Otherwise, my experiences are almost exclusively with live auctions, wherein I tend to follow Will's directive - and end up scoring some tremendous deals, because apparently, I buy things that nobody else seems to want.

Why is she freezing? Jeez, don't you people know ANYTHING? Chicks are hot when they're freezing.

Well, @12, yes, but only when they're wearing fuzzy sweaters. Especially pink or yellow ones.
