but wouldn't it make all the hipsters on capital hill happy if the 'softies across the way committed suicide en masse? that would free you from your "guilt" of abandoning your hometown business and you could free enjoy drinking the kool-aid Apple serves up...

Gheezuz Phuquing Xricst Corporate America is run by idiots. I just hope his overworked heart (he's packing the fat don't ya see) does not stop. And to think he was told to behave that way by some idiot consultant.

Oooooold video. I like the domopers remix.

He's still no match for Howard Dean, though.

Wow, that video is at least 6 years old. What prompted you to unearth that old fossil?

I bumped into it online, and saw it for the first time. Can we retire this "old video" bullshit, really? All it proves is that you spend more time sitting in front of a computer than I do. Bravo.

If I post something that says "OMG This New Video Is Totally New and Mind-Blowing and Also New," then you can call me on it. Isn't anybody going to point out that the Jim Jones audio is "at least ten years old?"

That is all.

Developers, developers, developers, developers...

Haha, even though it's old it still makes me laugh. This is the link you want Paul:

Paul, touche on how much time I spend in front of the computer, but seriously, this video and all the "Monkey Boy" mashups and remixes (check out the recent iPod-style Zune ad with a sillouette of Ballmer dancing around) were the Chris Crocker meme of 2001, excepting that unlike Crocker (or Britney), the subject of this video is a powerful local figure.

I guess I just assumed you'd seen it years ago and brought it back up again for some specific reason, some recent Ballmer escapade I'd missed.

Having seen at least one Ballmer "Pump up the troops" video, I couldn't believe the fuss over the Howard Dean pep rally. It was nothing by comparison.

Calling out something tired and old for being tired and old is perfectly reasonable--it's no different than if you reviewed old movies or old books.

And bitch-slapping Peter for pointing this out was low and uncalled for. If you can't do this job professionally, go work at McDonalds.

Yes, the video is old. However, Ballmer is (with the possible exception of Blackwater execs) the vilest of the corporate vile, so I'm happy to see it making the rounds again.

@ 15: Boomers are tired and old. Would you all just STFU?
