It really depends on where your seats are. If you are sitting on the club level - the food is much better, but you need a club level ticket to enter the area. What you gain in food quality in the club section you lose in fan quality.
Everywhere else in the stadium the concessions are decent - not great - but there is pretty good variety.
As for the beer, it is about $7 a cup.
What the fuck ever. I don't know anybody who can afford Seahawks tickets.
Aw c'mon! We're gonna see the passing game today! If we can get any kind of pass blocking going then we'll be fine. Granted, it's going to be pouring—with bazillion mile an hour winds—so maybe we'll have to rely on Momo more than we'd like, but...well...crap. You're right. It's going to be an ugly game.
I think good beer at Le Qwest is $8 for 16 ounces. But since you're from Chicago, you'll probably drink crappy beer, which I think is $7.50 for 20 ounces.
I fear tonite's game due to the sentimental "Dick Nolan Factor". Just like 2001, when the Mariners had to play Rudy Guilani's NY Yankees in the ALCS. Or Super Bowl XL when the Hawks played Jerrome Bettis in his hometown of Detroit.
Look for the refs to screw us.
si just did a survey of all the football stadiums and what its like, Qwest actually came out pretty good

best food is outside. the food inside qwest is quite possibly the worst in the western world. grilled dogs with onions, including monstrous kielbasas can be had outside and brought in the game. the dude with the reggae music blasting has the best ones.
games at qwest are fun as hell and loud, and hawks fans have been booing the team when they fuck up so its a very unseattle like crowd. very working class and old school crowd and very different from the seattle most people meet on the hill, queen anne, and belltown ( no offense)
hawks need to win cuz the sorry ass cardinals won. this conference is the weakest ever.
is this Slog or KJR's forum?
FUCK PRO SPORTS.
No, no: fuck pro athletes.
CF - You can also go to El Puerco Lloron. It's listed in the Stranger Restaurant Guide. It's contiguous to Pike Place Market if you want to fun it up there on the way. Solid Mexican food in an unassuming setting. You can drink beer; the kid can drink soda. Then a 20 minute walk to Qwest.
@6 - hawks fans are also unlike real sports fans, who are willing to support the team thru ups and downs, rather than spit bile as soon as one bad decision is made.
The plus side of Qwest field is the wide mezzanines with lots of corner walls to dip in and smoke a quick joint. Just don't light up a cig, that's illegal.
Don't be frightened by all the methheads with green wigs, they can't really see you that well, so their fists won't connect.
No, fuck pro sports OWNERS.
There's a reason they charge so much. Does anyone here know why?
Thanks to one and all. Specific responses:
@2: just give up on inessentials, like books and stuff, and you too can afford Seahawks tix.
@3 I feel your pain
@4 I drink good beer when I can get it. The difference between $7 for bad beer and $8 for good beer is no call: $8. Once you're beyond the Drink Till You Drop stage in life, that last dollar means little. and the refs will always screw us. Or you. Or Vegas.
@5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11: Thanks for sharing.
@7, if you don't like sports, don't read posts headed "Sports." It seems so simple. . . yet some people never get it.
