RSS icon Comments on Hutcherson Threatening Microsoft—The Video

I thought God(TM) stopped hating and smiting when the New Testament was written. He probably just has unending love and compassion for Pastor Hutch. Bless his little power-hungry heart..
(Can we nickname him "Bunny" Hutcherson? now?)

So, who is this "Ken Hutcherson" person you kids keep speaking of?

Posted by GOD | November 16, 2007 3:37 PM

hehe, Bunny

And Steve Jobs wins another convert.

For the asshole I remember him to be he is remarkably calm

I can't hear well. Is there a transcript anywhere? (yes, a serious question.)

Posted by Sachi | November 16, 2007 4:15 PM

Too bad the video got cut off at that point. I wanted to hear the response.

Here I always thought he was that guy who always hangs out near Macy's and Westgate downtown yelling scriptures and threats of holy hellfire upon one and all...

(except for me, for some reason he keeps mistaking me for native american and says this qualifies me for some heavenly discount admittance)

That is priceless.

BTW, I'd support and participate in a well-organized, Stranger-sponsored intervention for his Church goers. We could print signs, picket, and talk to his parishioners as they enter and leave services.

I think the power has swung so far in the past couple of years that we could shame them. In fact, I think the Stranger should be begin publishing photos and names of his flock in the same manner that some newspapers publish the names of those busted for prostitution.

Can I get an amen?

He's still a prick.

Posted by QuimbyMcF | November 16, 2007 4:58 PM

Well, he's right about being a nightmare.

He pulls the race card? He's a racist because he uses his race to intimidate someone else. THAT my friends IS racism.

Posted by Sargon Bighorn | November 16, 2007 5:07 PM

He reminds me of the crazy guy in Scottsdale who stood on the same street corner for 30 years screaming at passersby that the world was going to end tomorrow...

...Until he fell over dead. So I guess he finally got it right at last.

A quandary:
Is it unethical or immoral of me to offer a $1000 reward for legitimate photographic evidence of Mr. Hutcherson "lying with a man as with a woman?"

Posted by Chris | November 16, 2007 5:25 PM

@14: That wouldn't be unethical or immoral. That would be a service.

Posted by Dave Coffman | November 16, 2007 6:26 PM

He's a fucking idiot. Not one word of that ramble makes any sense at all. It's not even English.

Posted by Fnarf | November 16, 2007 6:53 PM

sad and dull

Posted by mcfnord | November 16, 2007 6:57 PM

What a kook!
The Christian Taliban sounds like the nutzo Muslim Taliban.

What a dreary speaker. I thought that any preacher who was able to sucker enough people to regularly attend church in a school gym would at least be entertaining, even if only in an AOL/lowest common denominator way. I guess the folks at Antioch are even dumber than I thought.

Poor souls. At least Catholics get beautiful architecture, and a wonderful range of music by famous composers. All Antioch people get are tithing bills and bleacher butt.

he wants to 'work as a partner' ...

Ooooooooh! He's crazy!

He's a black man, with a righteous cause, and moon-bat crazy!

I'm surprised, as a late commenter (and a drunk one) that this hasn't been said yet.... He sounds like a nervous high school student giving an oral report in front of his class. He stutters, is unsure of his words, seems as if he is reading from a script, and sounds DEATHLY NERVOUS! I give him credit for speaking when he so obviously knew he was in unfriendly company, but it just makes him seem THAT MUCH MORE PATHETIC. He knows he's wrong, but his pride is so deep that he had to keep up this farce of "strength". I think he's already in his own personal hell, and I don't feel a bit sorry for him.

@9 Sounds like a job for the public intern.

Posted by Julie | November 17, 2007 9:17 AM

What the hell was his point? That was all very vague. Why is Microsoft humoring him?

Posted by Jennifer | November 17, 2007 10:46 AM

Jennifer, he was at a shareholder meeting. Anybody who spends $33 to buy 1 share of MS stock can walk right on in.

Ken hutcherson is Suge Knights fatter, wimpier younger brother. Suge knight smacked him up and made him sign a contract to change his last name to Hutcherson because he was an embarrassment to the family. So now he picks on gays to make up for the fact that he is too much of a pussy to be like his older brother.
