We should also waterboard the shit out of Benjamin Nicholas. It's time to get some answers.

Stephen King? The guy who keeps rewriting the same book? Why did they ask him?

I'm not so uptight about waterboarding if we can waterboard the man who penned that piece of shit "It".

Even if you hate his books, Stephen King is personally awesome. You should read his column at the back of EW... great stuff.

King was awesome until some moron ran his ass over and drove off. Now he believes in God--because he lived. Gross.

@6

Entertainment Weekly. I've seen him pop of a couple of times on the back page. Don't believe he's a regular, but I don't read EW regularly, so I don't know.

You all suck!! IT is one of the best books ever written. How many of your crappy books have killer clowns and child gang bangs? Just because something sells a lot does not automatically mean it sucks. Just most of the time, like John Grisham. I have always been puzzled by the fact the King was such a popular author for how twisted he is.

@6. The back page of EW gets traded out on a weekly basis between King and a few other writers. His column is called "The Pop of King" and though he says he writes about pop culture he mostly pontificates about the wonder years when people knew what REAL (movies, bands, books) were. You know, real movies and real books...things King hasn't come out with in decades. The Mist? are you freaking kidding me?

@10 - The Mist was awesome! When I was eleven.

Wow, Stephen King has a political opinion, huh? Well thank god he saw fit to talk about it with Time. And thank god Time had the insight to ask him what he thinks about politics.

You know what else I'd like to know? I'd like to know what Stephen King thinks about the AIDS epidemic in Africa. And intelligent design -- what does Stephen King think about intelligent design?

Fuck it -- what are King's thoughts on the stock market and the housing bubble? Let's go hog wild here.

While Mr King's point (that Jenna Bush be waterboarded) is perfect, I would suggest that Dick Cheney would be a far better subject, since when he died from heart failure the idiots involved would have to explain why. Plus he has better tits than Jenna.

As for King's books; "IT" has one scene which raises it to true art. A stoned guy sees a factory fall down a hill during an earthquake. He shouts "Far out! Great special effects!" I love it. In my opinion, "Gerald's Game" is far worse but a lot of his stuff is simple genius.

If they want to investigate waterboarding, Bush himself should be waterboarded. I mean, we all know he listens but never takes the advice of anyone with experience in whatever the matter at hand is, only what he may have experienced himself. That's pretty obvious. He might go all nucular, or some other made-up word, if he went through it.

I'm no Stephen King fan but I will get behind the waterboarding of either or both of the Bush twins 100%. Cheney's not a good choice cause his evil would protect him - he probably has gills too.

@ 13:

Plus he has better tits than Jenna.

Bigger does not always equal better. Man-boobies can be scary.

Let's just waterboard everyone in the Bush White House, from G.W. all the way on down, until we get one of them to admit that it is indeed torture, and that torture is unconstitutional. Hell, keep it up long enough and you can get them to admit anything.

If by Waterboard you mean ,impeach, arrest and take before the Hague I'm all for it.

Have you not read The Stand? Stephen King is awesome. And I'd rather hear his thoughts on politics than reports of Britney's bad driving anyday.

I thought The Mist was a pretty entertaining horror flick. I liked it alot more than I thought I was going to, anyways.

Yeah, why not waterboard Bush himself if it's all that harmless? I mean, I think Christoph Blocher is a slimeball, but even so I gotta admit it takes balls to have yourself tasered so that you know what you're talking about. Bush on the other hand only has a stuffed flightsuit.

Now that John Ashcroft has volunteered to be waterboarded, I'd like to volunteer to administer it.

Hell, I'll even do Gonzales--gratis!
